wine - A Windows 16/32/64 bit emulator

While Wine is usually thought of as a Windows(TM) emulator, the Wine
developers would prefer that users thought of Wine as a Windows
compatibility layer for UNIX. This package includes a program loader,
which allows unmodified Windows 3.x/9x/NT binaries to run on x86 and x86_64
Unixes. Wine does not require MS Windows, but it can use native system
.dll files if they are available.

In Fedora wine is a meta-package which will install everything needed for wine
to work smoothly. Smaller setups can be achieved by installing some of the
wine-* sub packages.

expat - An XML parser library

This is expat, the C library for parsing XML, written by James Clark. Expat
is a stream oriented XML parser. This means that you register handlers with
the parser prior to starting the parse. These handlers are called when the
parser discovers the associated structures in the document being parsed. A
start tag is an example of the kind of structures for which you may
register handlers.

environment-modules - Provides dynamic modification of a user's environment

The Environment Modules package provides for the dynamic modification of
a user's environment via modulefiles.

Each modulefile contains the information needed to configure the shell
for an application. Once the Modules package is initialized, the
environment can be modified on a per-module basis using the module
command which interprets modulefiles. Typically modulefiles instruct
the module command to alter or set shell environment variables such as
PATH, MANPATH, etc. modulefiles may be shared by many users on a system
and users may have their own collection to supplement or replace the
shared modulefiles.
Modules can be loaded and unloaded dynamically and atomically, in an
clean fashion. All popular shells are supported, including bash, ksh,
zsh, sh, csh, tcsh, as well as some scripting languages such as perl.

Modules are useful in managing different versions of applications.
Modules can also be bundled into metamodules that will load an entire
suite of different applications.

NOTE: You will need to get a new shell after installing this package to
have access to the module alias.

perl-Makefile-Parser - Simple parser for Makefiles

This is a simple parser for Makefiles. At this very early stage, the parser
only supports a limited set of features, so it may not recognize most of
the advanced features provided by certain make tools like GNU make. Its
initial purpose is to provide basic support for another module named
Makefile::GraphViz, which is aimed to render the building process specified
by a Makefile using the amazing GraphViz library. The Make module is not
satisfactory for this purpose, so I decided to build one of my own.

tcl-trf - Tcl extension providing "transformer" commands

Trf is an extension library to the script language tcl. It provides
transformer procedures which change the flow of bytes through a channel
in arbitrary ways. The underlying functionality in the core is that of
stacked channels which allows code outside of the core to intercept all
actions (read/write) on a channel.
Among the applications of the above provided here are compression,

jack-audio-connection-kit - The Jack Audio Connection Kit

JACK is a low-latency audio server, written primarily for the Linux
operating system. It can connect a number of different applications to
an audio device, as well as allowing them to share audio between
themselves. Its clients can run in their own processes (ie. as a
normal application), or can they can run within a JACK server (ie. a
"plugin").

JACK is different from other audio server efforts in that it has been
designed from the ground up to be suitable for professional audio
work. This means that it focuses on two key areas: synchronous
execution of all clients, and low latency operation.

chmsee - A Gtk+2 CHM document viewer

A gtk2 chm document viewer.

It uses chmlib to extract files. It uses gecko to display pages. It supports
displaying multilingual pages due to gecko. It features bookmarks and tabs.
The tabs could be used to jump inside the chm file conveniently. Its UI is
clean and handy, also is well localized. It is actively developed and
maintained. The author of chmsee is Jungle Ji and several other great people.

Hint
* Unlike other chm viewers, chmsee extracts files from chm file, and then read
and display them. The extracted files could be found in $HOME/.chmsee/bookshelf
directory. You can clean those files at any time and there is a special config
option for that.
* The bookmark is related to each file so not all bookmarks will be loaded,
only current file's.
* Try to remove $HOME/.chmsee if you encounter any problem after an upgrade.

R - A language for data analysis and graphics

This is a metapackage that provides both core R userspace and
all R development components.

R is a language and environment for statistical computing and graphics.
R is similar to the award-winning S system, which was developed at
Bell Laboratories by John Chambers et al. It provides a wide
variety of statistical and graphical techniques (linear and
nonlinear modelling, statistical tests, time series analysis,
classification, clustering, ...).

R is designed as a true computer language with control-flow
constructions for iteration and alternation, and it allows users to
add additional functionality by defining new functions. For
computationally intensive tasks, C, C++ and Fortran code can be linked
and called at run time.

perl-Makefile-DOM - Simple DOM parser for Makefiles

This libary can serve as an advanced lexer for (GNU) makefiles. It parses
makefiles as "documents" and the parsing is lossless. The results are data
structures similar to DOM trees. The DOM trees hold every single bit of the
information in the original input files, including white spaces, blank
lines and makefile comments. That means it's possible to reproduce the
original makefiles from the DOM trees. In addition, each node of the DOM
trees is modifiable and so is the whole tree, just like the PPI module used
for Perl source parsing and the HTML::TreeBuilder module used for parsing
HTML source.
