yaz-5.2.1-1.fc21.src

yaz - Z39.50/SRW/SRU toolkit

YAZ is a programmers toolkit supporting the development of Z39.50/SRW/SRU
clients and servers. Z39.50-2003 (version 3) as well as SRW/SRU version 1.1
are supported in both the client and server roles. The SOLR webservice is
supported in the client role through the ZOOM API.

The current version of YAZ includes support for the industry standard ZOOM
API for Z39.50. This API vastly simplifies the process of writing new clients
using YAZ, and it reduces your dependency on any single toolkit. YAZ can be
used by itself to build Z39.50 applications in C.For programmers preferring
another language, YAZ has three language bindings to commonly used application
development languages.

This package contains both a test-server and clients (normal & ssl).

coin-or-Ipopt-3.11.8-1.fc21.src

coin-or-Ipopt - Interior Point OPTimizer

Ipopt (Interior Point OPTimizer, pronounced eye-pea-Opt) is a software
package for large-scale nonlinear optimization. It is designed to find
(local) solutions of mathematical optimization problems of the from

min f(x)
x in R^n

s.t. g_L <= g(x) <= g_U
x_L <= x <= x_U

where f(x): R^n --> R is the objective function, and g(x): R^n --> R^m are
the constraint functions. The vectors g_L and g_U denote the lower and upper
bounds on the constraints, and the vectors x_L and x_U are the bounds on
the variables x. The functions f(x) and g(x) can be nonlinear and nonconvex,
but should be twice continuously differentiable. Note that equality
constraints can be formulated in the above formulation by setting the
corresponding components of g_L and g_U to the same value.

netcdf4-python-1.1.0-1.fc21.src

netcdf4-python - Python/numpy interface to netCDF

netCDF version 4 has many features not found in earlier versions of the
library and is implemented on top of HDF5. This module can read and write
files in both the new netCDF 4 and the old netCDF 3 format, and can create
files that are readable by HDF5 clients. The API modeled after
Scientific.IO.NetCDF, and should be familiar to users of that module.

Most new features of netCDF 4 are implemented, such as multiple unlimited
dimensions, groups and zlib data compression. All the new numeric data types
(such as 64 bit and unsigned integer types) are implemented. Compound and
variable length (vlen) data types are supported, but the enum and opaque data
types are not. Mixtures of compound and vlen data types (compound types
containing vlens, and vlens containing compound types) are not supported.

qemu - QEMU is a FAST! processor emulator

QEMU is a generic and open source processor emulator which achieves a good
emulation speed by using dynamic translation. QEMU has two operating modes:

* Full system emulation. In this mode, QEMU emulates a full system (for
example a PC), including a processor and various peripherials. It can be
used to launch different Operating Systems without rebooting the PC or
to debug system code.
* User mode emulation. In this mode, QEMU can launch Linux processes compiled
for one CPU on another CPU.

As QEMU requires no host kernel patches to run, it is safe and easy to use.

blktap-3.0.0-1.fc21.git0.9.2.src

blktap - Blktap Userspace Tools + Library

The blktap userspace toolkit provides a user-level disk I/O
interface. The blktap mechanism involves a kernel driver that acts
similarly to the existing Xen/Linux blkback driver, and a set of
associated user-level libraries. Using these tools, blktap allows
virtual block devices presented to VMs to be implemented in userspace
and to be backed by raw partitions, files, network, etc.

The key benefit of blktap is that it makes it easy and fast to write
arbitrary block backends, and that these user-level backends actually
perform very well. Specifically:

- Metadata disk formats such as Copy-on-Write, encrypted disks, sparse
formats and other compression features can be easily implemented.

- Accessing file-based images from userspace avoids problems related
to flushing dirty pages which are present in the Linux loopback
driver. (Specifically, doing a large number of writes to an
NFS-backed image don't result in the OOM killer going berserk.)

- Per-disk handler processes enable easier userspace policing of block
resources, and process-granularity QoS techniques (disk scheduling
and related tools) may be trivially applied to block devices.

- It's very easy to take advantage of userspace facilities such as
networking libraries, compression utilities, peer-to-peer
file-sharing systems and so on to build more complex block backends.

- Crashes are contained -- incremental development/debugging is very
fast.

The tools mainly help to verify and correct disk corruptions.
